The symptoms of mycoplasma infection include:

In men	Painful urination Abnormal discharge from the penis.
In women	Abnormal bleeding after sex Abnormal discharge from the vagina Painful urination.
Rectal/Anal infection	Possibly pain in the rectum or anus Possibly abnormal discharge from the rectum or anus
Oral infection	No reported symptoms

Mycoplasma infection can be prevented by using condoms correctly and consistently during vaginal, anal and, maybe oral sex.
