Symptoms of UTI

The symptoms of UTI include:

  • Pain or burning sensation while urinating(dysuria)
  • Frequent urination
  • Cloudy urine
  • Urine that appears pink or red, indicating blood in urine
  • Strong smelling urine
  • Feeling the need to urinate despite having an empty bladder

If your bladder is infected, you may experience:

  • Lower abdominal pain (around the pubic bone area)
  • Urinary urgency

If your kidneys are infected, you may experience:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Lower back pain
  • Nausea or vomiting

Symptoms of prostatitis include:

  • Pain or burning sensation while urinating
  • Difficulty urinating, such as dribbling or hesitant urination
  • Frequent urination
  • Cloudy urine
  • Urine that appears pink or red, indicating blood in urine
  • Pain in the lower abdomen
  • Pain in the perineum (the area between scrotum and rectum)
  • Painful ejaculation
